Synergy Biogas LLC, New York state’s largest agricultural digester biogas-to-energy facility recently started operating at Synergy Dairy in Wyoming County, representing an important boost for the state’s renewable energy production efforts. Unlike the handful of existing N.Y. dairy farm digester facilities that only use cow manure, the Synergy biogas plant, which is powered by a GE Jenbacher biogas engine, is the state’s first “co-digestion” facility designed to recycle both animal and food processor waste into biogas to generate renewable electricity.

Light refreshments will be served.

We hope you will join us to celebrate this achievement!
